Crafting has always been a part of my life, but it wasn’t until I was in college, earning my BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Art History, that I truly discovered my love for paper crafts. The endless possibilities of design, mixed with the joy of hands-on creation, sparked something in me. It was then that I decided to share my passion with others and started Novae Makers Mart to help fellow crafters bring their creative visions to life.
Inspired by the brilliance of celestial phenomena, I named my shop “Novae” to capture those moments of sudden, brilliant inspiration that drive creativity. Every design I create is an invitation for you to explore your own artistic journey, just as I’ve done. What started as a small venture has now grown into a thriving community of like-minded makers, and I’m so grateful to be part of your crafting story!
And, of course, no great team is complete without a mascot, and Copper, our Chief Cuteness Officer, takes his role very seriously. From keeping me company in the studio to making sure I never miss a well-earned snack break, Copper’s enthusiasm (and impeccable record as employee of the month) makes him an irreplaceable part of our creative process.
